AFP to PDF Conversion and Stand-Alone Utilities 1.0

The Trillicom AFP to PDF Conversion and Stand-Alone Utilities 1.0 is ready for IBM PureSystems. Trillicom is among the first application providers to certify their solution on IBM’s new family of expert integrated systems.

Trillicom’s AFP to PDF Conversion and Stand-Alone Utilities Transform to convert AFP data stream to a PDF version. Rendering options can be set to optimize the data stream generated for optimal fidelity or for thin client distribution where a minimal PDF reader is available. This is accomplished by mapping source fonts to a common subset of fonts required by the client. Mapping is controlled by configuration files, settings can be configured to minimize distortion. The indexer/splitter component can recognize programmed sequence breaks ( TLEs, NOPs) generate individual or stacked PDFs from original stream. Indexer function used to insert document tags. Optimization functions enabled control size of output generated. Performance options activated optimize processing of resource libraries and inline versions of same. Run-time environment modeled after mainframe AFP environment to help with migration functions and minimize resource conflicts. For more information, please Contact Trillicom.
